📦 Send a parcel
Choose Yu-Pack, Letter Pack, Yu-Packet or another service according to the parcel’s size, weight and contents.
✉️ Letters, postcards and documents
You can use standard-size mail, postcards, express mail, registered mail and content-certified mail (Naiyō Shōmei).
🌏 Send overseas
You can use EMS and international mail. Conditions and availability vary by country, region and contents, so check before sending.
📬 Receive items and request redelivery
If you were away, you can request redelivery. For eligible items, you may change the delivery date or location, collect the item at a post office, or use a Hakopos parcel locker.
🏠 Moving and mail forwarding
Submit a change-of-address notification to have mail addressed to your old home forwarded to your new address free of charge. The online e-Tenkyo service is also available.
🎫 Buy stamps, postcards and shipping supplies
You can buy stamps, postcards and Letter Packs. Some post offices also sell boxes and bags for Yu-Pack.
🏦 Japan Post Bank and ATMs
At post offices with savings counters or ATMs, you can handle Japan Post Bank account procedures, deposits, withdrawals and transfers.
🛡️ Insurance and other services
Some post offices have Kampo Life Insurance counters. Available services and opening hours differ by location.
