How to Send Mail and Parcels
The right service depends on what you are sending.
This guide explains prices, size limits and how to send each item.

💡 Stamps pay the postage fee. If you do not know how much postage you need, ask at the counter.
📄 Letter Pack
For A4-size items weighing up to 4 kg. Convenient for documents and small items.

• Up to 3 cm thick
• Delivered to the mailbox

Letter Pack Plus — ¥600
• More than 3 cm is accepted
• Handed directly to the recipient

Both services include tracking and can be used for correspondence.
📦 Yu-Packet
For small, thin items such as clothes, books and CDs.

🌏 Sending overseas
Use EMS when speed is important. International Parcel and other services are also available. Prices, delivery times and prohibited items vary by country.
⚠️ International mail requires a special label. Check the latest rules on the Japan Post website.
